How to use your Points:
- Improve Your Current Players -
Hitters
- 75 points = 1 point added to a player’s OVERALL LEVELS.
- 150 points = 1 point added to a player’s TALENT LEVELS.
- 75 points = 1 point added to a hitter's running, bunting and defensive categories .
Pitchers
- 100 points = 1 point added to a player’s OVERALL LEVELS.
- 200 points = 1 point added to a player’s TALENT LEVELS.
- 100 points = 1 point added to a pitcher’s Endurance or Groundball Percentage. (Cannot Add more than 20 Endurance Points to ANY pitcher)
adding a pitch.. Random.Org strikes again..
I pick a random number pitches assigned like this.. If pitcher has the pitch, I pick the next one..
1. Fastball
2. Changeup
3. Curveball
4. Slider
5. Screwball
6. Sinker
7. Splitfinger
More Upgrades:
- 150 points to have Talents = Overalls in a particular category (Movement, Contact, etc. )
- 350 points = 1 level bump to a player’s Injury, Clutch and Leadership
- 450 points to have a player learn a position (I.E. Make Piazza a 1st base man). Again players don’t just LEARN new positions at the drop of a hat. IF you player already knows a position already it free to change his
title.
Restrictions:
1. Overalls can NEVER be bumped up over 85 by using the straight point system.
2. Overalls may be raised for a player more than 10 points in any particular category in one season..
3. No talent increases allowed after the age of 32
4. I will keep track of it, but GMs must be honest if I catch someone trying to slip something past me on a particular player they will be fined & decreased DOUBLE the amount of increase for the player in question.
5. NO talents = Overalls can ever move Overall or Talent over 100.. at any point
Restrictions on Add a Position
1. We take the player's average range and +/- 50 percent to find a range of numbers (I.e. 50 Range goes to a 25 - 75 scale) THEN I use Random.org to produce a random number that will be considered the players range.. Also done for fielding percentage..
Positions can change as follows, USING THE REWARDS POINTS SYSTEM....
3B, 2B, SS = ANY IF position or OF positions...
1B = ONLY LF or RF OF positions
CF, RF, LF = ANY OF Positions
C, DH = 1B Only
(no positions can add C)
700 points to reverse a carreer ending injury...
